As I sat in his office, slightly curled like a cat, explaining the injustice of my mother's surprise diagnosis and her death that followed too quickly for any of us to find our footing, I felt without even asking for it a sense of attunement I had never received in my life.

In another experience, with a different therapist, when I felt flooded and muttered softly "it's okay, crying is safe" — she replied: yes, but not all the time.

What closed in that moment was not just a sentence. It was a door.

Research in interpersonal neurobiology tells us the therapeutic relationship accounts for more of the healing than any modality or technique. The nervous system does not repair in isolation, only in the presence of another willing to A T T U N E.

About A T T U N E

What You Will Move Through

Day One — Saturday June 28, 9:00am – 12:00pm PDT

-The science of interpersonal neurobiology and what it means for the therapeutic relationship

-The definition of attunement and why it reaches further than empathy or active listening

-What clinical somatic psychotherapy tells us about the signals we send and receive before a single word is spoken

-The window of tolerance — working skillfully at the edges of shutdown and overwhelm

-Your own nervous system, from the practitioner's seat

Day Two — Sunday, June 29, 9:00am – 12:00pm

-Co-regulation theory and the science of psychosensory touch

-What it means to be a genuinely resourced presence in the room

-Why empathy is a neurobiological event, not a soft skill

-Resourcefulness versus regulation — a distinction that quietly reshapes how you hold a session

-A new somatic lens for mental health work, one that allows another person's system to find its own way home

Who is this for...?

You have done the School-Degrees-Accreditation. You hold the framework. You offer tools, solutions, Therapeutic applications like CBT or DBT, mindset shifts, practical strategies — and you are good at it. People leave your sessions with something to work with, something to try, something to carry into the week.

And still, Your Session Work Feels Like Something Is Missing, and you have always known the difference lives somewhere beneath all of The Technical and practical applications.

Attune is for the practitioner who is ready to understand what that difference actually is — not as a concept, but as something felt and practiced and carried back into the room. Because the most sophisticated tool you will ever bring to a client is a nervous system that knows how to attune.

Testimonials

Nadia

As a former flight paramedic, I carry deep wounds from years of chaos and high-stress situations. Before starting somatic therapy, I struggled with finding peace unless I was in the middle of the action. I craved the chaos, and quiet moments felt unsettling and unsafe. With Georgia’s compassionate and skilled guidance, I've been able to gently unravel patterns I wasn’t even aware I was holding so tight in my body. She has a unique ability to "get down to business” in the safest way possible. I’ve learned to embrace stillness, trust what I call the "in-between”. I feel I’ve had more progress in 10 months than I did in 15 years of talk therapy. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to truly heal from deep trauma and shift long-standing patterns.

I've been working with Georgia for several months now and I can confidently say her work is magical. I've done a lot of different kinds of therapies and am very used to diving into the muddy depths but Georgia does it different and I am so grateful for that. This work is gentle, profound, and rejuvenating. The time between sessions is when the magic really unfolds as I can easily track the progress that has been made. I can always feel the regulation and resolve in Georgia's nervous system during the sessions and it totally helps to bring mine into deeper coherence. I've learned amazingly simple tools for navigating stressful moments and continuing to melt trauma. She's a special human.
